Alex is our resident gladiator for the trip, and he makes all the waves look small.  I swear this wave was double overhead on everybody else.

May 14th

Christophe was a late comer on the trip, joining his Swiss friends Berti and Nicholas for their yearly jaunt for perfect waves.

May 13th

This is the second time in as many weeks that we've had 10 out of 10 bankvaults, double overhead +.  This time was different having David Rastovich aka Rasta out in the water.  He only surfs twin fins these days, which is a huge inspiration for me as well.  He draws lines that other surfers can't even imagine, let alone try and surf.  This picture is a classic example. Even before he exited the barrel, he was doing one last pump which he then turned into a massive wrap around cut back at full speed, on a twin fin.  This accomplished, and with no speed way out on the flats, he bottom turned up and snapped under the lip to execute another 5 second houdini barrel ride through the greedy section.  Video is coming shortly.

John lives in the state of Hawaii and is getting his island groove on with us as well.

Kevin hurt his back yesterday, but pushed on through to the other side and was out there to enjoy some great waves this afternoon.

Berti turned 40 on the island, and he's still getting presents today.
