June 27th

This is also Flavio (Snr.)  Throughout the trip Flavio was honing his skills on the Wayo Whilar tank that he brought with him.  Compare this shot with June 18th!

June 26th

I thought I knew who this guy was.   He spent the entire trip on the "cruising" boat, and then today paddled out and schooled everybody from the "charging" boat.  Flavio charging on Big Yellow.  I know who you are now.

June 25th

Jan and Pervin spent a week with us.  Aside from Jan (German) and Pervin (Turkish), we had 2 Kiwis, 4 Brazilians, 1 Australian, 1 American and 3 Peruvians.  Each of the nationalities had never met any of the other people on the trip, and that is the beauty of what we do.  Everybody left as friends.

June 24th

Alice is taking a break from shooting for a couple days, so I have to go back and rehash other sessions. This is from June 19th.

June 22nd

Here is Paulo being a mouse in his little mouse hole at my favourite break. The conditions all came together to sneak a mini session in before anybody else knew what we were up to.  Just ourselves and the barrels.

A terrible day to have to be choosing a shot of the day.  Everybody got the photographs of their lives today, if not the waves of their lives!  Here is Claudio, high in tight in the sweet spot while his friend stalls his duckdive to get a better view.
