• As a previous guest to the WavePark, you may be interested to know why our prices have increased (again) from 2007;  The Indonesian government are putting up gasoline, kerosene and diesel prices at least 85% in 2008.  This means gasoline that was Rp. 4000 / liter in 2007 is now over Rp. 7000 / liter!  As the government controls all the fuel production and distribution, this increase is instantaneous and nationwide.  This price increase is the same as instant inflation over the economy as a whole, so everything (food, wages, transport, etc.) increases in price across the board.  Included in this is SMAC airlines which we utilize to get across the channel and back.  They are increasing their prices over 30% from 2007.  Both of these costs are the biggest chunk of our operating expenses.

• Our all inclusive price includes airport - hotel transfers, flights from Padang - Mentawai return, speedboat transfers from airport - WavePark, guided surfing and fishing speedboat service, 3 meals a day, drinks, snacks and accommodation. In 2008 the Mentawai Government's $3/surfer/day use levy, and 10% goods and services resort tax is included in your daily price.  With a maximum capacity of 14 surfers, the WavePark Mentawai guests have the entire island for their exclusive use. 

• International flights to and from Padang, visa on arrival, airport departure tax, transport aside from airport - hotel - harbor transfers, alcoholic drinks, food in Padang and hotels in Padang.

• Book 10 surfers, get the 11th guest free, OR 10% off the entire group's balance for the 11!
• Book 5 guests, get the 6th guest 50% off the entire cost of the trip!
